Voices of Hope
at City of Faith Church in Houston, Texas
City of Faith Church is excited to bring you our fun and diverse praise and worship team! Perhaps one of the greatest ways to show God our love is through song and dance! Just as David praised God continually, City of Faith Church is dedicated to providing a dynamic praise and worship experience that is fun, eclectic, and most importantly, focused on worshiping our King of Kings.
Join us for praise and worship every Sunday at 10 am. Now, let's meet our praise and worship team!
Jaqueline is 19 years old and loves to sing! She is a fantastic singer on the City of Faith Church praise and worship team. Prior to joining City of Faith Church, Jaqueline was part of the praise and worship team at Lakewood Church. At Lakewood, she would assist in leading the elementary age students in praise and worship. Jacqueline is bilingual and sings beautifully in both English and Spanish. She is a current student at Lonestar College Cy-Fair and is studying to become a Music Teacher. She also works part-time as a receptionist.
Natalie is a music education and vocal performance major. She is twenty-five years old, and is happily married to Likhi Orozco. She served as the Youth Choir Director at Pentecostals of West Houston from 2010-2012, and was a lead vocalist during Sunday services.
She is President of the Glee Club at Lone Star College Cy-Fair and has co-directed many of their performances. She is extremely passionate about music and loves teaching young adults and children. Her dream is to open a music school that offers voice, piano, theater and dance classes.
I have been singing since I was about four years old and playing piano since before that. I am an active student at Lone Star College North Harris and aspire to someday be an attorney and perform as well. Singing is a passion that I was just born with and no matter how hard I try to stray away from this thing -- singing -- it seems to follow me and sadly there is nothing I can do about it. I will say that it is music that guides my life. A lot of the people that I keep for company are people that are somewhat musically inclined and my closest friends share the same love for music that I do. Singing for the City of Faith seems to be fantasy for me due to the fact that it combines to of my most favorite things in life; singing and God. All the thanks goes to God for presenting me with this opportunity and I will forever be grateful.
Irving joined the Voices of Hope team in June of 2015 as worship leader. God has put a desire in him to lead people in true, authentic worship. He believes that this is not only done when we gather together as a congregation, but when we are living Christ like lives out in the world. Irving is a 2013 graduate of Mediatech Institute in Houston, Texas. He has helped churches integrate youth groups and media teams in the surrounding Houston area.
