Total Life Victory
Led by Pastor Sabra Johnson in Houston, Texas
A promise is a declaration or assurance that one will do a particular thing or that a particular thing will happen. Where important bodies such as governments are involved, such promises generally assume the form of treaties, the provisions of which are accepted as binding on all those participating. Among honest individuals a promise carries with it the expectation that the promisor is both willing and able to fulfill the commitment to the promise, with the undertaking being accepted by the latter on the basis of good faith. God is the greatest promise maker and promise keeper in existence. God always keeps his Word. 2 Corinthians 1:20 NJKV. "For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us."
The third prophetic promise of the City of Faith Church and Pastor Sabra Harrison Johnson's vision is the promise of Total Life Victory.
Total Life Victory
The victory of the Cross through Christ re-positioned the believer to a new height in the eyes of God spiritually through the ushering in of the age of grace which brings by product benefits in the Spirit and in the Natural. The book of Acts records many amazing signs and wonders on display in the church and the New testament further illustrates the supernatural power of faith in the life and mouth of the believer. Spiritual victory gives the believer the power to experience abundant life.
The term "abundant life" comes from the bible verse John 10:10, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." The phrase "More abundantly" means to have a superabundance of a thing. "Abundant life" refers to life in its abounding fullness of joy and strength for mind, body, and soul. "Abundant life" signifies a contrast to feelings of lack, emptiness, and dissatisfaction, and such feelings may motivate a person to seek for the meaning of life and a change in their life. Pastor Sabra sees in the text total life victory!
Total Life Victory for a person begins with a new birth, a new relationship with God, new motivations, and a new relationship with mankind. The process of manifesting total life victory involves learning to live abundantly, being cleansed from sin, and learning to fight spiritual battles.
Pastor Sabra teaches the believers can access the power of faith or fear through speech- the right belief-filled confession. The promise of Total Life Victory is rooted in choosing to speak the promises and provisions desired provided those desires are in agreement with the Bible, as an act of faith and agreement with God's plans and purposes.
God's Promises About Money, Finances, Prosperity and Employment
Pastor Sabra teaches believers are Born to Succeed. Pastor Sabra Johnson strongly argues in favor of total life victory through a lifestyle of faith, rejecting what he sees as the demonization of success in many Church circles. The CITY vision promises you will not lack anything that is needed. It’s in the Bible, Psalms 34:9-10, NKJV. "Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints! there is no want to those who fear Him. The young lions lack and suffer hunger; but those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.”
God will take care of your day-to-day needs. It's in the Bible, Matthew 6:31-34, NKJV. “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble."
As you meditate on God’s word your way will be prosperous. It’s in the Bible, Joshua 1:8, NKJV. "This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Test God, see if He will bless you will more than you can hold. It’s in the Bible, Malachi 3:10-11, NKJV. "Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it. “And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, so that he will not destroy the fruit of your ground, nor shall the vine fail to bear fruit for you in the field,” says the Lord of hosts;"
City of Faith Church is an environment of total life victory.
